Characteristics
The negotiations with professional associations, societies, media partners and companies doing business in the field of waste management have resulted in a unique requirement concerning the removal of the nomenclature of this independent sector from the FOR INDUSTRY International Trade Fair and the creation of a separate trade fair title which is to be presented simultaneously with the FOR INDUSTRY and FOR LOGISTIC 2008 International Trade Fairs. The aim of the FOR WASTE Trade Fair is to represent traditional as well as new, progressive technologies for the handling of waste, recycling and cleaning, and to indicate possibilities of further developments of this important industrial branch. A core role in the field of waste management is played by the offer of the companies producing machinery equipment for various methods of waste processing. The environment of the Czech Republic belongs among the areas which are highly contaminated by various substances. Many of those substances enter the environment from waste and their processing. Our goal should not be limited to a simple disposal of this waste only, but we should focus on the processes of its further use – recycling and other processing methods, because a waste disposal process brings further loads on the environment. The meaning of presentations within the framework of the FOR WASTE Trade Fair is that also the companies which produce waste should realise that many times this concerns substances which can still be used with the help of advanced technologies, and thus they can become a means for assurance of savings and continual profit growths.
Statement of the main professional sponsor: Czech Waste Management Association (ČAOH)
Everything what has been made or is to be produced somewhere sometimes will turn into waste some day in the future anyway. That is why, for our earth not to be overfilled with waste and for the next generations to have enough resources for production of new things, it is necessary to use the materials of this waste again, to recycle it back to elementary raw materials or to use it for the production of energy or at least to deposit it in a safe manner so that it shall not cause any loads on our environment and that it can be used by the generations to come sometimes in the future. And it was just for this reason why the Czech Waste Management Association (“ČAOH”) was established 11 years ago, which associates more than 80 private entrepreneurial entities from the field of collection, transport, use, recycling and disposal of waste, and relating activities and which places emphasis on application of the high technical standard. Therefore we were very pleased when we could accept the offer to become the professional sponsor of the only trade fair specialised in waste held in the Czech Republic, known as FOR WASTE, and we will fully use this opportunity to ensure the widest possible presentation of not only our members, but also of the actual sector on the exhibition area or within the framework of a high-quality accompanying programme of the trade fair. We believe that all of this will increase the interest in this, still sometimes unrightfully neglected sector and that this event will lead to a higher awareness of the responsibility for our common cleaner environment, which is borne not only by firms but also by citizens.
